American Charlatan! The Musical

John R. Brinkly, American's most brazen pitch man, used a medical con (an outlandish surgical method for restoring fading male virility) to make himself very rich, appropriated the media for his own uses (created the first country music radio stations), and ran for highest public office on zero political experience. If this sounds familiar, it should - narcissistic pitchmen have been part of the American fabric almost since its inception. This wild, 1-act musical adventure is inspired by Pope Brock's book "Charlatan".
